§ 51.06 CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY; PAYMENT FOR SERVICES.
   (A)   Notice to village. Any customer who moves shall provide written notice to the village and request a termination of service. The notice shall be given at least ten days prior to the date that service is to be terminated. The meter shall be read by the village after receipt of that notice, and the customer will be billed. If a customer fails to give written notice, the meter shall be read as soon as it becomes known to the village that the customer has moved.
   (B)   Responsibility for payment of services. The water customer shall pay all amounts owed to the village, including any late fees, for service provided to the date of the change in occupancy or the date of termination of service, whichever is later. If the property is not owner occupied, the property owner is responsible for paying any and all unpaid bills for service to that property.
   (C)   Charges for change. There shall be no charge for transferring water service to the subsequent customer.
