For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates, or requires, a different meaning.
MANUFACTURED HOME. A dwelling unit designed and built in the factory which bears a seal certifying that it was built in compliance with the Federal Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards law (42 U.S.C. § 5402) as it existed on January 1, 1994.
MOBILE HOMES. A vehicular, portable structure, built on a chassis and designed to be used on a permanent foundation as a dwelling unit when connected to the necessary utilities. For the purpose of this subchapter, the term MOBILE HOME shall not include modular homes or manufactured homes.
MODULAR HOME. Any residence which is constructed in a manufacturing facility and transported to its final site by means completely separate from the residence, and which meets the code requirements of the Building Officials and Code Administrators National Building Code (BOCA).
