§ 51.99 PENALTY.
   It shall be unlawful to install or operate any well in violation of this chapter. Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punished by a fine of up to $500 and imprisonment for up to six months in the county jail. Each day the infraction exists constitutes a separate violation. A civil action may also be filed against a person violating the provisions of this chapter to obtain an injunction preventing such actions in violation hereof.
