§ 110.99 PENALTY.
   Every person who commences any business, avocation or occupation for the transaction or carrying on or conducting of which a license is required by any ordinance of this city, without first taking out or procuring a license prescribed by such law, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and any person, firm or corporation who willfully or intentionally violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction of said misdemeanors, or either of them, shall be fined a sum of not to exceed $500 or six months in jail, or both. Any violation of the provisions of this chapter after an arrest or issuance of a citation shall be deemed a separate misdemeanor offense for each separate day a violation or violations occur.
