(A) The compensation for the village auxiliary police officers shall be paid on an hourly basis rather than a shift basis as set forth by the Village Council from time to time.
(B) Members of the auxiliary police unit shall not receive any benefits of employment, including, but not limited to, health and welfare benefits, life insurance benefits, contribution to the public employee retirement system, paid sick leave, vacation time, vacation pay, paid holidays or personal time.
