(A) Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MEETING. An officer’s or firefighter’s attendance at a meeting which the officer or firefighter is required by law to attend in order to remain certified as a firefighter, or any meeting which such officer or firefighter is required to attend under the rules, regulations or bylaws of the Department.
RUN. A fire run in response to a call for assistance which is attended by the respective officer or firefighter.
WORK NIGHT. An officer’s or firefighter’s attendance at a meeting which the Department completes various work tasks associated with running and maintaining the Department’s facilities, equipment or in which training occurs.
(B) Runs. The remuneration for the Department’s officers and firefighters for runs shall be as set forth by the Village Council from time to time.
(C) Meetings. The remuneration for the Department’s officers and firefighters for meetings shall be as set forth by the Village Council from time to time.
(D) Work nights. The remuneration for the Department’s officers and firefighters for work nights shall be as set forth by the Village Council from time to time.
