§ 51.40 WATER SYSTEM.
   (A)   The charges for tapping-in to the village water system shall be as follows.
      (1)   Water services having a diameter measurement one inch or less, and including curb box, one meter, and meter fitting will have a tap-in fee of $1,400 plus the cost of materials.
      (2)   Water services having a diameter measurement greater than one inch and up to two inches, and including curb box, one meter, and meter fitting will have a tap-in fee of $1,800 plus the cost of materials.
      (3)   Water services having a diameter measurement greater than two inches, and including curb box, one meter, and meter fitting will have a tap-in fee of $3,000 plus the cost of materials.
   (B)   The village shall be responsible for the installation of any necessary tap-in equipment and shall connect all water services to the village’s water system. The village will take the service up to the curb box. The exception is for new subdivisions, in which case the developer shall be responsible for all utility lines in the subdivision. Tap-in fees still apply for new subdivisions. The cost of installing a lateral connection which requires boring will be included in this fee.
