It shall be the duty of the Town Marshal to seek applicants and interview potential Deputy Marshal candidates. When the Town Marshal has completed that task, he or she shall report to the Town Council his or her recommendation, and the Town Council will ultimately decide whether the candidate recommended shall receive an offer of employment, and if so, under what conditions.
