Either the County Unsafe Building Inspector or a person selected by the town is designated to be the Town Unsafe Building Inspector for purposes of enforcing the state unsafe building law, that the Town Unsafe Building Inspector is authorized to administer and to proceed under the provisions of the law in ordering the repair or removal of any buildings or structures found to be unsafe as that term is specified in I.C. 36-7-9 et seq. and the Town Council is designated to be the hearing authority as that term is used in I.C. 36-7-9-2, for purposes of hearing and reviewing orders issued by the Town Unsafe Building Inspector.
