§ 112.01  LICENSE REQUIRED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to peddle, hawk, sell or exchange for sale any goods, wares or merchandise of any kind and every kind whatsoever; or take or solicit any orders for goods, wares and merchandise, within the limits of the town, cither for immediate delivery or future delivery; or conduct any auction establishment, street auction or any so-called "Bankrupt Sale," "Fire Sale" or "Assignee Sale" without first procuring from the town a license therefor. This chapter shall not apply to commercial travelers or selling agents in the usual course of business, nor to bona fide assignees and receivers appointed in this state selling goods, wares and merchandise for the benefit of creditors.
