§ 71.001 VEHICLE OPERATION.

(A) No person shall operate a vehicle on a street or highway at a speed that is in excess of the speed limit posted on the road or highway by means of official traffic control devices.

(B) No person shall operate a vehicle on a road or street at a speed that is greater than reasonable and prudent under the conditions.
