Every Swimming Pool constructed after the passage of this Chapter shall be provided with an overflow trough not less than two and one-half (2 ½) inches wide and extending around the entire margin of the pool. This trough shall be connected with a public storm sewer, and no water flowing into such trough shall return to the pool. The entire bottom of every such pool shall slope with a fall of not less than one-quarter (1/4) inch per running foot to an outlet connected with a public storm sewer. Where no public storm sewer is available, a drainage and overflow arrangement may be used, only if approved by the Village Zoning Inspector or their designee.
