(a) The provisions of Ohio R.C. 717.02 and 717.021 are hereby deemed to be of benefit and service to the Municipality and its inhabitants and by reason thereof are hereby adopted and approved as they apply to the Fire Department, its apparatus, equipment and personnel.
(b) The members of the Fire Department are hereby authorized to engage in rendering service to other political subdivisions in times of emergency to provide additional fire protection to such subdivisions, when requested by the Chief of the Fire Department of such foreign political subdivision and consented to by the Chief of the Fire Department of this Municipality.
(c) During such time as the Fire Department is going to or from the other political subdivision requiring such aid and fire rendering service in such subdivision, the personnel of the Fire Department shall receive the full benefit and be entitled to the full privileges as set forth in Ohio R.C. 4123.21 and 4123.94.
