(a) There is hereby caused and established a Fire Department in the Municipality, which shall consist of a Fire Chief, one First Assistant Fire Chief, one Engineer, one Captain, one Senior Lieutenant, one Junior Lieutenant and not less than twenty-five members (comprised of firefighters and first responders), inclusive, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council and shall continue in office until removed therefrom for the causes and under the powers and procedures provided for the removal of officers by Ohio R.C. 733.35 to 733.39 inclusive.

(b) The composition of the Fire Department may be changed from time to time as provided for by ordinance of Council.
