(A) There is hereby established a fund to be known as the Animal Control Fund to be maintained separate and apart from all other funds of the county.
(B) The fund shall consist of monies received from the imposition of fines, fees, penalties, donations and payments from participating municipalities related to the animal control ordinance.
(C) Money shall be disbursed by submission of a claim signed by the Boone County Sheriff or his or her designee and approved by the Commissioners. Monies in the fund shall not revert to the county general fund at the end of each calendar year, but shall be held over from year to year, for the purposes established by this section.
