§ 34.22 RECORDING OF DOCUMENTS.
   (A)   The provisions of H.E.A. 1297, as passed by the 1995 Indiana State Legislature, pertaining to the implementation of a supplemental fee for recording documents, and which has been presented and explained to the County Commissioners by the County Recorder are hereby adopted by the Commissioners acting as the legislative body of the county.
   (B)   The County Recorder shall incorporate the changes necessary to implement this program into the County Recorders office and advise the general public and patrons of the office of the establishment of this supplemental fee by prominent posting in the office that the fee schedule is readily available to the general public.
   (C)   The County Commissioners adopt the fee amount of $3 for recording a single document.
   (D)   All revenues derived from the supplemental recording fee pursuant to this section shall be deposited in the County Records Perpetuation Fund.
