(A) The Boone County Sheriff shall charge a fee of $200 per student for the citizen gun class.
(B) If there are more than 11 paying students in the gun class, the Boone County Sheriff’s office may offer enrollment in the gun class to full-time county employees at no charge, and immediate family members of local police officers of Boone County for $100.
(C) Any fees collected shall be deposited into the Firearms Training Fund account for the Sheriff’s office.
(D) The Boone County Sheriff shall pay the Rangemaster $1,000 per gun class and the Safety Officers $500 per gun class. This payment shall be made from the payroll line of the Firearms Training Fund account for the Sheriff’s office.
(E) If any provision of this section is adjudicated by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal or unenforceable, all other provisions of this section shall remain in full force and effect.
