APPENDIX A: FEE SCHEDULE
Agricultural
Farm buildings
$.05 per square foot of floor area, maximum of $50.
Residential
Single-family dwelling or two-family dwelling
$200 base fee, plus $.10 per square foot of floor area (excluding garage, attic areas and the like).
Multi-family dwelling (3 or more units)
$225 per unit.
Accessory structures, attached and detached garages
$.10 per square foot of floor area, minimum $100.
Additions
$55 base fee, plus $.10 per square foot of floor area.
Interior remodel
$40 base fee, plus $.10 per square foot of floor area.
Swimming pool
$175.
Temporary mobile home
$155 for the first two years, $300 per year after the first 2 years.
Permit for decks, porches, gazebos, and pergolas
$50.
Home occupation permit
$100 per home occupation.
Commercial and Industrial
Commercial and industrial structures
$350 base fee, plus $.10 per square foot of floor area.
Interior remodel
$75 base fee, plus $.10 per square foot of floor area.
Accessory structures and additions
$.10 per square foot of floor area, minimum $140.
Commercial and industrial demolition permit
$100 per building.
Other Structure Fees and Fines
Church, school, library, museum, private recreation and the like
$200 base, plus $.10 per square foot of floor area. Additions, accessory structures and interior remodels should follow commercial and industrial fees respectively.
Change in electrical service
$65.
Parking structure
$9 per parking space.
Re-inspection
$50 residential and agricultural buildings.
Sign
$2.50 per square foot of marketable area per visible face, minimum $100.
Early bird fine (start of construction prior to permit issuance)
The amount of the permit in addition to the cost of the permit issued.
Cell tower permit
$250 per cellular communication tower.
Appeals, Special Exceptions, Variances, Exclusions and Zoning Amendments
Zoning amendment (change of zoning classification or text)
$500 base fee, plus $50 per acre.
Zoning amendment for commercial/industrial (map amendment)
$500 base fee, plus $50 per acre.
Zoning amendment for residential subdivision (map amendment)
$500 base fee, plus $25 per acre.
Special exception
$275 ($650 for mineral extraction, sanitary landfill, waste transfer statio, hotel, shopping center, mobile home park or junkyard).
Special exception for cell tower
$500 base fee, plus $10 per foot in height.
Special exception for commercial and industrial use
$500.
Variance
$275.
Variance fine (variance required because construction did not occur as per approved site plan)
5 times the cost of the approved building permit in addition to the cost of the variance.
Variances for commercial and industrial uses with associated waivers
$500 base fee, plus $50 per waiver.
Application being processed for an appeal of the APC Director’s decision
$50.
Plats and Change of Development Plan
Minor subdivision (primary and secondary plat)
$350.
Concept plan (placard)
$200 per concept plan.
Primary or secondary plat for major residential subdivisions
$650 base fee, plus $20 per lot.
Primary or secondary plat for major commercial subdivisions
$700 base fee, plus $20 per lot.
Change in development plan
$500, plus $50 per acre.
Plat amendment application
$300 flat fee, plus $100 per lot.

Planned unit development application
$1,000 flat fee, plus $20 per acre.

$25 per hour.
