Development plan approval shall be in accordance with the applicable section of the Subdivision Control Ordinance with the following alterations and additions.
(A) When appropriate, lot standards shall apply to a PUD and shall act as a guide in determination of lot standards in each PUD District Ordinance. However, as appropriate, the concepts behind such lot standards shall generally apply to all applications requiring development plan approval.
(B) When possible, open space areas should be connected within the development and interconnected with other potential or existing open space areas outside of the development. While not required, dedication of open space for public use, particularly in instances of opportunity for interconnection with other open space areas, is encouraged.
