§ 70.16 SIDEWALKS AND MULTI-USE PATHS.
   (A)   No motorized vehicle, unless specifically permitted in this subchapter, shall be operated on or upon any sidewalk or multi-use path except when safely entering or exiting a legal parking space, driveway, or roadway as necessary, and then only after yielding to all persons operating lawfully using a sidewalk or multi-use path and when doing so will not cause any person using the sidewalk or multi-use path to collide with the motorized vehicle.
   (B)   A motorized disability access vehicle, as defined in this subchapter, shall be permitted to operate on or upon any sidewalk or multi-use path.
   (C)   A battery operated motorized unit, which serves a sole purpose as a child’s toy and not for transportation, shall be permitted to operate on or upon any sidewalk or multi-use path when doing so will not cause any person lawfully using the sidewalk or multi-use path to collide with the motorized unit.
   (D)   Any person who violates this section shall be issued a citation pursuant to section § 71.99 of the Boone County, Kentucky, Code of Ordinances.
