For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MOTORIZED DISABILITY ACCESS VEHICLE. A vehicle designed primarily for and used by a disabled individual and not capable of operating at a speed greater than 30 miles per hour on level ground.
MOTORIZED VEHICLE. A self-propelled apparatus where propulsion is provided primarily by an engine or motor.
MULTI-USE PATH. A permanent paved area that is physically separated from motorized vehicular traffic by an open space or barrier used by pedestrians and other non-motorized users.
SIDEWALK. Any permanent walkway or footpath constructed of a hard surface such as concrete or asphalt and located near or on the edge of a lot or in any location that the walkway appears to be for the convenience of the general public.
