The County Building Inspector shall be designated as the local enforcement agent/agency for said Kentucky Building Code and Kentucky Residential Code. All inspections shall be performed by persons certified by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Building and Construction. Building inspectors for the county shall have the power to issue “stop work” orders to those individuals or entities who have not complied with the applicable occupational license requirements.
