§ 50.004 FINANCIAL HARDSHIP POLICY.
   (A)   A FINANCIAL HARDSHIP CASE shall be defined as an individual and/or family living below the poverty level, as defined by the United States Government.
   (B)   In financial hardship cases, the Town Manager shall have the authority to modify or waive any water and/or sewer regulation or fee when the amount in question does not exceed $3,000. In each financial hardship case, the Public Works Director shall provide the Town Manager with a written report summarizing all of the relevant facts and detailing his or her recommendation. This report shall include a written verification that the individual does in fact fall below the poverty level.
