2-3-6: DUTIES:

It shall be the duty of the golf committee to make recommendation to the city council on the following matters:

A.   Prior to November 1 of a calendar year, the committee shall make a recommendation to the council for fees for the following calendar year;

B.   In the general and overall maintenance of the fairways, greens and boundary markers;

C.   For the promotion of and for the improvement of the golf course;

D.   As to the maintenance and operation of the clubhouse;

E.   Prior to July 31 of each calendar year, as to the amount of recommended budget for the ensuing fiscal year;

F.   As to procedures and methods of making the golf course self-supporting;

G.   As to guidelines that provide for the use of the course and its facilities to its fullest potential;

H.   As to guidelines that provide for and encourage use by all individuals, groups and organizations of the city. (1959 Code § 2-4-6)
