§ 34.031 CHIEF OF POLICE.
   (A)   The Chief of Police of the town shall be a peace officer and shall enforce the municipal ordinances. He or she shall have such other powers, duties, and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.
   (B)   The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the Town Board of Trustees for an indefinite term and shall be removable by the Board.
   (C)   The Chief of Police shall be the head of the Police Department and shall have supervision and control of the Department.
