§ 71.014 RIDING OUTSIDE VEHICLE COMPARTMENT.

No person shall ride on any vehicle upon any portion thereof not designed or intended for use of passengers. This section shall not apply to any employee engaged in the necessary discharge of a duty, or to persons riding within truck bodies in space intended for merchandise.
