These regulations have been established in order to protect the public and the subdivider including his or her agents. By statute (see R.C. Chapter 711), the Planning Commission must consider all relevant aspects of a subdivision including feasibility, desirability, safety, roads, water, sewage, compliance with other regulations, and the physical capability and suitability of the land to support development. In this respect, specific periods of time have been established in order to allow reasonable and sufficient periods for public review and comment.
