§ 93.17 SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES.
   Where public improvement or construction results in the need for removal of public trees by the village and no alternative plan is available to keep the public tree, the Tree Commission may recommend to Council, that a tree be planted on private property, at public expense, as a replacement tree. Council shall review each recommendation made by the Tree Commission and no expenditure of funds for a tree under this section shall be made without the approval of Council.
