Once the City Clerk has determined that the business license application is complete, he or she shall forward the application to the Building Commissioner to conduct an inspection of the premises for compliance with all applicable laws, including the building, electrical, plumbing, health, housing, zoning and fire codes of the city, and any other regulations of the city relating to the public health, safety and welfare.
