(A) Any person desiring to engage in the business of hauling, transporting or conveying any or all of the articles mentioned in § 119.080 of this chapter shall make application to the City Clerk for a license. The application shall set forth the name of the applicant and the number of public cars, express wagons, furniture vans, trucks or drays owned or operated by applicant.
(B) Upon the payment of a license fee, the City Clerk shall issue to the applicant a license, attested by the proper city authorities, authorizing the applicant to engage in the business of hauling, transporting or conveying any or all of the articles mentioned in § 119.080 of this chapter.
