(A) The annual license fee for such filling station shall be determined by the number and capacity of the containers and tanks situated on the premises as follows: $5 for containers or tanks having a total capacity of 100 gallons or less; provided, however, that, where only kerosene is stored and where the containers or tanks in one and the same premises have a total capacity of 100 gallons or less no license fee shall be charged; $5 for each portable wheel tank; $10 for containers or tanks having a total capacity of more than 100 gallons, but not exceeding 400 gallons; $15 for containers or tanks having a total capacity of more than 400 gallons but not exceeding 990 gallons.
(B) For containers or tanks having a total capacity of more than 990 gallons, the license fee shall be $25 for the first 1,065 gallons and an additional fee of $2 for each additional 1,065 gallons capacity or fraction thereof.
(C) For containers or tanks used exclusively as initial or bulk storage containers or tanks, from which the same or distribution of any of the flammable liquids mentioned in this subchapter is not made direct to consumers, but is made at wholesale exclusively, the license fee for such initial or bulk storage containers or tanks shall be $75 for each and every such bulk storage container or tank having a capacity of not more than 100,000 gallons; $100 for each such bulk storage container or tank having a capacity of not less than 100,001 gallons, but not more than 150,000 gallons; $125 for each such bulk storage container or tank having a capacity of not less than 150,001 gallons but not more than 200,000 gallons; $150 for each such bulk storage container or tank having a capacity or more than 200,000 gallons; provided, however, that, containers or tanks maintained on the premises of or on premises immediately adjacent to retail distributing stations and supplying any of the flammable liquids mentioned in this subchapter to such retail distributing station shall be required to pay the fee provided for in division (B) above.
(D) Any person that is required to pay an annual license fee of $15 or more, as above provided, shall be entitled to have a tank capacity not exceeding 100 gallons for the storage of kerosene only, which capacity shall not be counted in determining the total tank capacity of the filling station.
(E) The license shall expire on April 30 next after the issuance thereof and, if issued for less than one year, the fee shall be reduced in proportion to the unexpired portion of the license year remaining.
