(A) Any person desiring to sell or offer for sale any of the building material mentioned in § 118.001 of this chapter shall make application to the City Clerk for a license.
(B) The application shall set forth the name of the applicant and the place of the business.
(C) Upon the payment of the license fee, the City Clerk shall issue to the applicant a license, attested by the proper city authorities, authorizing the applicant to sell or offer for sale any of the building material mentioned in § 118.001 of this chapter; provided that, if any person has taken out a license authorizing the sale of lumber or authorizing the conducting of a lumberyard, no further license shall be required for the sale of the building material described herein.
