No person, firm or corporation shall conduct a garage sale within the city unless a license is issued permitting the sale. Each license will be valid for a period of not more than three consecutive days. No garage sale shall begin earlier than 8:00 a.m. on any day. All garage sales shall end not later than 5:00 p.m. on any date. The license shall be displayed in a prominent place on the premises so that it is visible from the exterior of the premises.
