§ 72.15 OVERNIGHT PARKING.
   (A)   OVERNIGHT PARKING is defined as parking on any street in the city’s residential zoning districts from the hours of 2:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m.
   (B)   Overnight parking is prohibited with the following exceptions:
      (1)   Vehicles displaying a valid city vehicle registration;
      (2)   Vehicles displaying a valid city permanent overnight parking permit;
      (3)   Vehicles that have been registered with the City Police Department online or via phone for temporary overnight visitor parking, which is allowed no more than seven times per month. Any person requesting permission to park vehicles overnight may submit their request online at www.frontlinepss.com/blueisland or by calling 708-385-1313; or
      (4)   Vehicles parked within a one block radius of the following streets: Western Avenue from 119th Street to Grove Street; and Olde Western Avenue from Canal Street to 135th Street. No vehicle shall park within these designated areas between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday morning, and between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday mornings.
   (C)   The city vehicle registration or permanent overnight parking permit required on residential city streets must be fully and completely affixed to the lower front passenger side of the windshield. Partially removed or partially affixed vehicle registration stickers or permanent overnight permits will result in a citation for violation of this section.
   (D)   Any resident desiring a permanent overnight permit shall file an application for such purpose with the City Clerk pursuant to § 73.02.
   (E)   Any person found in violation of any provision of this section shall be fined not less than $50 and not more than $750 for each offense. Each day a violation occurs or is allowed to continue shall constitute a separate and distinct offense. Violations of this section shall be administered through administrative adjudication of vehicular regulation violations.
   (F)   Appropriate signs shall be erected by the Superintendent of Public Works on the streets designated above and/or to be designated in the future informing the public that parking thereon is restricted.
