The city is authorized to perform or provide for property maintenance activities to abate a nuisance caused by a vacant building, including the following:
(A) Cutting and removal of neglected weeds, grass, trees and bushes as authorized by Ord. 2494 and 65 ILCS 5/11-20-7;
(B) Pest control activities, as authorized by 65 ILCS 5/11-20-8;
(C) Removal of infected trees as authorized by Ord. 2494 and 65 ILCS 5/11-20-12;
(D) Removal of garbage, debris and graffiti as authorized by Ord. 2494 and 65 ILCS 5/11-20-13; and
(E) Removal, securing and enclosing abandoned residential properties, as authorized by Ord. 2494 and 65 ILCS 5/11-31-1.01.
