§ 164.30 SECURITY GUARD SERVICE.
On written notice, the owner shall provide bonded, licensed and insured security guard service at the building from 3:00 p.m. through 8:00 a.m. daily. Such service shall remain in place until the Building Commissioner or his or her designee gives written notice that the service is no longer required. Such service shall be required when the Building Commissioner or his or her designee makes a written determination that the vacant building constitutes a fire hazard, is otherwise dangerous to human life or the public welfare, involves illegal or improper use, occupancy or maintenance, under such conditions that securing the building is insufficient to prevent the actual or threatened harm.
