(A) The city has previously designated a “redevelopment project area,” as defined in the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, 65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-1 et seq., (the “Act”), known as the “Blue Island TIF No. 4”, and is now considering designating an additional redevelopment project area (or areas) pursuant to the provisions of the Act.
(B) Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-4.2 of the Act, the city is required to establish certain interested parties’ registries (individually, a “registry” and collectively, the “registries”) and adopt registration rules for such registries.
(C) The city desires to adopt this subchapter in order to comply with such requirements of the Act.
