As used in this chapter:
(a) "Dwelling unit" means any dwelling unit in any type of structure.
(b) "Apartment dwelling unit" means a dwelling unit in any structure that contains more than one dwelling unit or on a property that contains more than one dwelling unit and where all of the dwelling units are owned by a single person, firm, corporation or other entity.
(c) "Condominium dwelling unit" means the part of a condominium property that is designated as a unit in the declaration, is delineated as a unit on the drawings prepared pursuant to Section 5311.07 of the Ohio Revised Code, and is a residential unit, in which the designated part of the condominium property is devoted in whole or in part to use as a residential dwelling consisting of one or more rooms on one or more floors of a building.
(d) "Rental" means the renting, bartering, trading, letting, or otherwise allowing the use of a dwelling unit or room or rooms within a dwelling unit for compensation.
(e) "Transient rental" means the rental or offer for rental of any dwelling unit or any portion of a dwelling unit for a period of less than 30 days.
(f) "Leaseback" means an arrangement where the seller of a dwelling unit leases the dwelling unit back from the buyer for a time period intended to facilitate the property sale while allowing for the seller or buyer to accommodate moving arrangements. (Ord. 2019-6. Passed 9-12-19.)
