Every water closet, lavatory, kitchen sink, bathtub and shower shall be supplied with water and sewer service, which service shall be properly installed and maintained to function effectively on a continuing basis.
(a) Connection shall be made to the public water supply and distribution system and to the public sanitary sewer collection and treatment system whenever these systems are adjacent to the premises and connection thereto is feasible.
(b) Private water supply and private sewerage systems shall be allowable for basic water and sewer service only when service from the public systems is unavailable, inaccessible or otherwise clearly unfeasible.
(c) Private water supply and private sewerage systems shall be installed only in accordance with current standards, regulations and specifications of the Hamilton County Board of Health and shall be maintained regularly so as to assure safe, sanitary, odor free and effective service continuously in accordance with current standards, regulations and specifications of the Hamilton County Board of Health.
(d) All sinks, lavatories, bathtubs, showers and laundry machines shall be supplied with hot and cold running water.
(e) Every dwelling unit shall be equipped with a water heating device, properly connected to hot water lines serving all sinks, lavatories, bathtubs, showers and laundry machines, which hot water service shall be properly maintained and capable of heating water to be drawn at every kitchen sink, lavatory basin, bathtub, shower and laundry machine or other similar units at a temperature of not less than 120 degrees Fahrenheit at any time needed.
