Every person, firm or corporation who digs, or causes to be dug in or adjoining any street, alley, avenue or any public ground, excavation, or who occupies or causes to be occupied, any portion of any street, avenue or alley with building material or other obstruction shall provide warning lights, barricades, signs or other traffic control devices necessary to the protection of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Such devices shall be in conformance with the latest edition of the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (OMUTCD), Part 7 - Construction and Maintenance Operations; and as modified or enhanced in the permit.
