§ 14.172 LICENSE APPLICATION VERIFICATION AND CONSIDERATION.
   The is empowered to conduct any and all investigations to verify the information on the application, including ordering a computerized criminal history inquiry and/or a driver’s license history inquiry on the applicant. Within 60 days of receipt of a complete application and fee, the or other designated official shall make a written recommendation to the City Council as to issuance or nonissuance of the license. The City Council may order and conduct such additional investigation as it deems necessary. Within 120 days of receipt of the complete application and fee, the City Council, at an advertised public hearing, shall approve or deny the license.
