The following words and terms when used in this Division E shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
AUTOMATIC FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM. Any type of alarm system designed to automatically detect and signal the existence of a fire. The term does not include single station fire alarm devices.
AUTOMATIC FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM. All fire extinguishing systems including automatic sprinklers, combination standpipes, dry and wet standpipes, and special automatic extinguishing systems.
