§ 131.125  DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, except an officer of the law in the discharge of his or her official duty, to fire or discharge any gun, pistol, or other fowling piece within one mile of the corporate limits; provided, nothing herein shall be construed to apply to officially sanctioned public celebrations or sanctioned firing ranges if the persons so discharging firearms have written permission from the governing body.
