The city desires to and hereby does elect to become a party to the state’s cooperative government interlocal cooperation agreement and agrees to be bound hereby to the same extent as an original party hereto and shall be entitled to the rights and privileges thereto appertaining. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the said interlocal cooperation agreement on behalf of the city.
