Any person may initiate a review and possible change to this chapter. They must submit the proposed change(s) in writing with reasons for the requested change(s) listed with clear detail to the planning department. The planning department will review and submit to the planning commission any legitimate request for change. The planning commission may recommend a change(s) based on a review of the information submitted or may deny the request. If the planning commission recommends a change, that recommendation will go to the city council who will set a public hearing date after advertising the proposed change(s) in a local paper at least two (2) weeks prior to the city council meeting or public hearing meeting.
