A. The customer shall comply with this chapter as a term and condition of receiving water service from the water department. Acceptance of water service is an admission of customer's awareness of this requirement.
B. It shall be the responsibility of the consumer to purchase, install, test and maintain any "high hazard" backflow prevention device/assembly required in order to comply with this chapter, and to maintain their own plumbing system in compliance with state regulations and all applicable codes.
