5-3-2: DEFINITIONS:
As used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
HIGHWAY: The entire width between the boundary lines of every way publicly maintained when any part is open to the use of the public for vehicular travel, with jurisdiction extending to the adjacent property line. The terms "street" and "road" are interchangeable with highway.
MATERIAL: Any matter or thing capable of being transported by vehicle on a highway including, but not limited to, gravel, sand, soil, fill, stone, rock, wood products, masonry, building equipment, liquids, and appliances.
VEHICLE: Every device in, upon, or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, excepting devices used exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks. (Ord. 2000-08, 10-30-2000)
