4-1-2: EXCESSIVE FORCE:

It is the policy of the County that excessive force by local law enforcement agencies shall not be used against individuals engaged in lawful and nonviolent civil rights demonstrations within County boundaries. The Board of County Commissioners directs the Sheriff to implement this Section by amending applicable police department procedures. (Res. 90-23, 12-10-90)
