To obtain plat approval, the developer shall be in compliance with all federal, state and local laws applicable at the time that the plat is reviewed for approval. The developer shall be in compliance with all local laws and regulations applicable at the time that the subdivision was approved by the city council, or in the case of minor subdivisions, at the time the minor subdivision was approved by the city engineer. A plat shall not be authorized for recordation if there exists a violation of relevant ordinances or statutes. (2003 Code § 12-04-06)
