When staff review of the plat is completed and all required terms and conditions are satisfied, staff may forward the plat to the city clerk recommending that it be submitted to the city council for approval. The city clerk shall place the request for plat approval on the next available city council agenda. The city council shall review the subdivision and plat and, upon a finding that all of the requirements have been satisfied, shall authorize the mayor and the city clerk to sign. The city engineer's signature shall be the final approval assigned to the plat. (2003 Code § 12-04-04)
